Description
This modifier is used to indicate that a synchronous telemedicine service was provided using an audio-only telecommunications system. It is applicable for counseling and therapy services rendered by Opioid Treatment Programs, as well as for mental health visits conducted by Rural Health Clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
